I've gotten to a part where there are 4 boxes with 4 different letters on them. Two are located in the library, one is located in the dining room, and one is located in the office. I can't seem to find the right sequence for the letters and the only thing that I have as a reference is a note that reads
A=?
X=(2×5)+(A+A)
Y=X÷(A+A)-A
Z=(A+A)×(Y+A)+X
I'm at a loss as to what to do next. I've searched all across the Internet for a solution, but only to no avail. If you know anything about how to proceed any further in this game, I'd love to know.
